“I recently purchased a Living Social voucher for an IPL at Laserlight for Men and Women. What a wonderful experience. I have had many IPL’s through different internet voucher promotions as well as paying full price, and this IPL was by far the best. Patty was extremely thorough during the initial intake as well as the IPL itself. Her office is wonderful, very warm and inviting, yet professional. I enjoyed chatting with her during the procedure as she told me wonderful stories about the lovely quilts on her walls. Her stores made the treatment pass quickly – I mean let’s face it, getting one’s face zapped by a laser isn’t the most pleasant experience!!
It was an easy drive down Route 3 and her office is located in a strip mall where there is a huge T.J. Maxx and Home Goods which I made use of due to getting there too early. I mean, what can be better than that? Shopping and a beauty treatment.

“I just had an IPL photofacial at Laserlight and I had to post right away. I have rosacea and I’ve had previous treatments done at other places to help with this condition, as well as laser hair removal. So I can compare what other laser facilities are like compared to Laserlight. First, Patty showed me the treatment room and the machine she would be using; next she showed me some before and after photos; finally, Patty sat with me for quite some time and described exactly how the laser works, risks, and aftercare. She had me wash my face in the bathroom with provided gentle face wash. She had me get on the table and put something under my knees for back comfort. She put the goggles on to protect my eyes, warned me that the machine turning on may be loud, then put a gel on my face. She did a few test pulses – 1) to see how I tolerated different degrees of pain and 2) for her to see how my skin reacted. Once we found a good level for my skin, she explained everything she did before she did it and told me if I felt uncomfortable or my face became hot, to make her aware. At the end of this first step in the procedure, she turned the intensity up on the machine, and used a ruler-type tool to pinpoint different areas on my face that may need a stronger pulse. Even though it was stronger, it didn’t hurt. She looked at my face carefully and found a few brown spots and capillaries that needed a stronger pulse. Once that was over, she told me to remove the goggles slowly as the light in the room may seem bright – which it was because my eyes were used to the goggles. She reviewed the aftercare again with me, put some good quality sunscreen on, and gave me her cell phone number in case I had any issues or questions. She’s very knowledgeable and kind. I am definitely going back to her, as need be. I would recommend her highly.”
